I wouldn't think so. Alphabets aren't really a problem unless they're one of those birdscratch Asian ones or a run-on thing like Arabic. I'm a native English speaker and I had no problems learning the Cyrillic alphabet. Except that I occasionally get confused with П and Л. And haven't gotten around to memorizing some of the more peculiar ones, like Х, which I have no idea how to pronounce.
