| Lord Nathan has asked Sir Bruce to rescue his daughter, the beautiful Cassandra. She has been kidnapped by rogue Knights of the Crown. Nathan himself cannot risk attacking the King's men for political reasons. After all, if the rogues are killed in the rescue operation, how can it be proved that they kidnapped the princess? It would be Lord Nathan's word againt the loyalty of the King's men, who are picked by hand by the King himself from the most skilled and noble soldiers in the realm. The King would never believe that his trusted soldiers would betray him, so Nathan had to find someone that could never be connected to him. Sir Bruce was an ideal choice. CCCIX Knight's Quest 1 by Medieval Guy, on Flickr Sir Bruce is leaving the land of Lord Nathan on a mission to rescue the lovely Cassandra, Nathan's daughter from rogue soldiers of the King. CCCIX Knight's Quest 2 by Medieval Guy, on Flickr The distance that Bruce must travel is great. He crossed many rivers and streams as well as the Black Mountains. CCCIX Knight's Quest 3 by Medieval Guy, on Flickr After travelling for six days, Sir Bruce finally reached the Tower where Cassandra was being held captive. After dispatching several enemies, Bruce climbed the tower and brought the beautiful Cassandra down and back to her father. After seeing his valiance, Cassandra fell in love with Bruce, and Bruce loved her in return. Her father agreed that they should marry. They lived happily ever after.
